I don't ride it every day. What's the lowdown since they cut out one track on the brown/red/purple axis of evil?
Also, is it true that it's only tied up norththbound, heading away from downtown and it's okay going towards the loop? Thirdly, has it affected your blood pressure? |

Going to work, I was mostly unaffected...the ride is maybe 5-10 minutes longer.
Coming home, again, not that much difference. I don't leave work until around 5:30pm, though. Ride home was about an hour and 15 minutes from Washington/Wells to Western on the Brown Line.

Sounds like you were delayed about a half hour coming home. Sound right?

Something like that...I don't notice much when my nose is in a book.

Both this morning, and last, I got to work in the same amount of time, but the train was much more crowded.
Last night, I tried to take an alternate route home, but the Chicago bus never came....so I just took my regular route home. Not much difference. |

it's not so bad if you know how to apply a fujiyawa arm bar, or how to deliver a proper deadleg.

The El is so bad...
It got caught still selling drugs after it had already been arrested! Actually, I didn't notice too much of a difference yesterday or this morning. But there are a lot more CTA officials hanging around the stations. |

The major effect will be on northbound trains going into Fullerton, through to Belmont. However, trains in the Loop, and southbound trains, will be effected as slowdowns ripple through the entire system.
I didn't notice much difference this morning, but I'm planning on an extra half-hour getting home this evening. |

It did smell like they threw an extra coat of pee on everything. Was that part of it?
