Hey all...
So, I foolishly bought a Sidekick III last August and have been paying for it ever since. I've not only had to send it in for replacement twice, but I also have had to buy extemporaneous addons just to keep the battery charged. On top of all this, my phone just spontaneously stopped working this morning. I am broke and the deductible is $110. I don't have $110. Instead of using my option to "renew" my contract w/ this poopy company, I was hoping of buying or having someone donate me an old T-Mobile phone that I could simply put my SIM card into. I appeal to you, improv community, as you are the most reliable set of friends I have come across yet. Clearly money is the issue here, and since you don't have the $110 this would not be an option, but I just felt obligated to say (since I have been there with the regretful mobile purchases, et CET!) - that my life has LITERALLY become so much less hectic and complicated since I got an iPhone.
It is the best invention ever. I've heard that if you email Steve Jobs a fairly convincing letter on why you should be given one, he occasionally obliges. |

There are some cheap phones on e-bay to ride out your contract with...
I'd sell you mine but I am not switching Verizon after all. http://cgi.ebay.com/tmobile-nokia-82...QQcmdZViewItem http://cgi.ebay.com/Nokia-6190-Mobil...QQcmdZViewItem http://cgi.ebay.com/Motorola-Razor-V...QQcmdZViewItem |

that phone looks pretty fancy. I have a "loaner" phone for the time being while I figure out whether or not i want to buy another phone, or switch companies, or what... Are you planning on throwing it out anytime soon? or is this aone time offer?

It, along with a cingular blackberry, sprint nokia, orange UK alcatel, and Dutch LycaMobile (that still works. anyone going to holland and need a phone?), is just sitting in my electronics box.
You can keep it forever, and i'll show you how to synch your phone book/calendar to it. |
