Travis Dow attended classes at I.O. and ComedySportz and performed on Harold Teams Pestering Chester and Captain Sweatpants. He is currently battling cancer. Details below:

Friday, May 18th, 8pm.

Uncommon Ground, 1401 W. Devon

$15.00 donation for a night of live music and improv.

Featuring: Music from Katie Todd, The Damn Hoovers and Al Rose.
Improv from Jeff Hedges, Nick Johne, Scott Levy, Mike Meyers, Eli Rollman,Laura Schneider Lazzara, Sarah Pfouts Sullivan, Kieran Sullivan, Kat Timmons.

Our good friend, Travis Dow, singer, songwriter, guitarist, improviser, actor and all around good guy, is battling lymphoma in the sunny climes of California. He and his wife Katie uprooted themselves from Nashville Tn. (where Travis was seeking the music gold) to receive treatment back in February.

There have already been two successful benefits in Portland Oregon.

But the expenses are truly overwhelming for Travis and Katie, and we Chicagoans must show we can step up too.

This will be a fantastic night of music, comedy and great, supportive love and spirit.
