There is a Chris O Biddle who does improv in Chicago on the Radio Lab Podcast that I am listening to right now.
Is it the Chris O Biddle? Has a thread already been started about this? |

I don't know any other Chris O Biddle's who do improv in Chicago except THAT one. Yes, which episode? I am backlogged. I'm gonna guess it has something to do with the War of the Worlds radio play the did at Victory Gardens?

Oh boy.
Yeah. That's me. I recorded that interview, etc. with them in February as part of their fund-raising drive. It was originally intended to be used as promo-bumpers for radio stations, around the country. It was February. The month of love, etc. etc. Thus the tie-in to what the story is about. About ten stations used the bumper, across the country. It likely played a single time or two and then was never heard again. That's also why I am shilling, hardcore, for the show. I want people who listen to it to be open to the idea of donating to their local radio station. I didn't know that it would eventually be used as a weekly podcast to go out to all RadioLab listeners. But then, here it is. It's no big deal. What IS a big deal is that RadioLab is going to be in Chicago, this weekend, to do their "War of The Worlds" show on Sunday and Monday at Victory Gardens Theater. I am excited to say that I'm getting dinner with those guys on Thursday and hanging out with them throughout the weekend. I'm excited to get to finally meet Jad and Robert (I sure hope they ask me about my ex-girlfriend! That would be fun!) Buy tickets to see RadioLab LIVE here. Here endeth the plug. COB PS. Rape is hilarious. PSS. You can hear the whole thing, without subscribing, by going here.

Cool, I better get to listening!
Btw, I heart Zoe Keating. I listened to the last episode that featured her music (mid-August, maybe?) over and over again on the train, because it was so relaxing and meditative. In an awesome way. |

Chris, you gotta love how Rob says your name, "Chrisss. Ohhh. Biddlllle."
If I were you, I'd take that clip and use it on your voicemail.

I absolutely agree with you about that. I saved that podcast on my ipod and have listened to it on the bus, a couple of times. Same thing. She's very talented. I am pleased to report that we JUST found out that she's coming to do the "War of the Worlds" show, LIVE. She was on tour somewhere but RadioLab is paying her plane ticket to have her come in to do the show. I think she'll also be selling CDs at the show. So, that's pretty cool. Quote:
At the end of the interview, when Jad and Robert asked me why I thought Lisa and I broke up, I answered, "I blame Ira Glass. I don't know how, but it's somehow his fault. The bastard!" And that made them laugh a lot too and we joked about what a jerk Ira Glass was. So that was fun. Those guys are just as nice and fun as you imagine them being. Just great guys, all around.
