Spec Commercial - How Do You Reese's?
Saturday, February 11th, 2017
We are filming a spec commercial for Reese's Peanut Butter Cups. It will be filmed to look like a "real interview" of "real people" being asked questions on camera. The style and aesthetic will match the viral video of strangers kissing each other but not in Black and White. Link Below.
Three cameras will be set up, and we are casting actors (especially with improv experience) to come to our studio for just 20-30 minutes tops, to read scripted lines and improv some lines and expressions in character as a type of real person.
The basic concept will come off as if these real people are being asked questions about personal information, or sex, and the awkward responses they give. In the end, the audience will realize all the subtext and innuendo was about Reese's Peanut Butter Cups and the tagline is "How Do You Reese's?"
SHOOT IS THIS SATURDAY February 11, 2017 Roughly right now time slots between 9:30-4pm.
Shoot will be at:
Zacuto Camera Rental
401 W Ontario St #100, Chicago, IL 60654
The shoot is unpaid, but you will only be needed for 20-30 minutes tops. Feel free to book us in between an audition or if you happen to be in the area. You WILL receive an HD copy of the spec commercial for your reels if you make it in the final cut. If you do not make it in the final cut, I can provide the HD raw footage as well.
If you'd like to audition please e-mail (email@example.com) your headshot/resume and send along a video audition answering these questions...
** In your video submission, pretend you are being interviewed off the cuff, and are being asked these 5 questions. How you choose to answer them (nervous, confident, offended, flirty) is up to you. The product might end up being Reese's Cups, but feel free to add more subtext and innuendo as if the questions were personal.**
1. Tell us about your first time.
2. How do you feel after it is done?
3. Can you describe how you do it?
4. Would you do it on camera right now?
5. Miscellaneous Improv Lines of Innuendo/Subtext (Have Fun!)
