Off I skip to Best Buy! I'm so excited!

My PS2 broke a couple years ago, so I could never own a GH game even though I loved it. I was thinking of holding out for the Wii version, but apparently you can download a ton of new tracks for the 360 version.

I have GHII for PS2. I heard there is a hack version out there you can play with different songs. Anyone know about that?

Dammit! Now PS2 almost has nothing to hold against the 360 people. Except for the God Of War games. At least PS2 still has one amazing title that XBox doesn't.

PS2 players also have Okami over us. You fucking PS2 friends of mine (CHAMP! FUZZY! TYLER!) have been lording that shit over me for a year. Stupid broken PS2.

Anyway, it's fucking sweet. I'm scared to do Normal/Medium difficulty though. I'm a master of Easy and the easiest song makes my fingers cry when you throw in a 4th fret.

Is this game fun because I figured it's like playing Simon (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Simon_(game)) on a controller but it seems people really like it and I should give it a try.

Mine arrived in the mail yesterday (the box was large, but just short of comical) and I grabbed a 2nd guitar today. I'm working through the tracks on Medium, having finished Easy earlier.

Oh, and I freaking love it! There's no downloadable tracks yet, but I can't wait for them to start rolling out. The ten songs exclusive to 360 are alright, I suppose... "Hush" by Deep Purple is probably my favorite to play...

Have you guys heard about "Rock Band"? The same folks who make GH are working on this for 360 and PS3, and it will involve multiple people playing guitar, drums, and SINGING all on one song. Online play, too. It sounds way too cool.

Yea, I just read an article on www.thetanooki.com that said the full Rock Band set will cost about $300. Noooo thanks. I can buy a real instrument and professional lessons with that kind of dough.
