“[Vatterott] showcased a few times for Bert Haas, Zanies’ talent scout, but Haas admittedly didn’t ‘get’ him. It wasn’t until Vatterott was arguably in his element — hosting a raw stand-up competition at Chemically Imbalanced Comedy’s 2006 Snubfest — that he clicked with Haas, who was seated at the judges’ table.”- Timeout Chicago Article on Nick Vatterott

"I credit CIC as a company and the Saturday night showcases in particular with a very golden moment in my career, when it got me into the Chicago Improv Fest and a headline review in the Chicago Tribune. I’m not exaggerating when I say I owe a huge portion of my current success to the attention I got on CIC’s stage." Robert Buscemi who won "Last Snob Standing" and was awarded a CIF performance spot and was written in the Tribune about his Snubfest performances.

"At Snubfest I feel I can test out some riskier material,”-TJ Miller star of the hit film “Cloverfield” on CLTV interview for Snubfest

“You are more apt to see performers rolling the dice at Snubfest,”- Jonathan Pitts Executive Director and Founder of Chicago Improv Festival on Timeout Chicago interview on Snubfest
