My wife and I are planning to meet friends in Chicago
for the weekend of June 1 - 3.
What the hell is going on up there that weekend? Will it be that heavily into trade show / convention season already?
Are there any nice, but not too pricey, hotels in Chicago that people might have overlooked? I'm looking for a room under $200 a night.
The open hotels I've found so far that still have rooms are around $400 a night, which makes me want to pee tears of sorrow.
There are hotels open at O'Hare and in Schaumburg, but that's a little far outside of town for us.
Anyone got suggestions? Travelocity and Expedia have been most unhelpful.
