The Time Travelers Theatre Ensemble, a theater program that has existed in Schaumburg for close to 9 years and has had a regular show for 5 years, is seeking improvisers, or improv-novices of any skill level, to audition for our group. We operate as a club that practices weekly and performs monthly through the park district for adults 30 or older (some age limit exceptions are made). We perform short-form improvisation mainly, although other events can present opportunities to perform, too. Practices are Thursdays from 7 to 9 p.m. at the rec center and performances are in the tennis club's bar one Friday per month from 8 to 10 p.m.

Auditions take place on Thursdays at the rec center. Call Marc at 773.905.8326 or write to marcoblues@gmail.com for more information on joining or for our performance schedule.

If accepted, annual dues are $60/yr to cover practice space and staff, stage time is based upon participation in the practices. We have members that are also in other shows throughout the Chicagoland area, which we work around.

Come and try it - it's an inexpensive way to keep your skills sharp - you can have a great time with the Time Travelers!

I was in a group that performed along with these guys a couple years ago. They're pretty cool people. If you're willing and able to do some improv out the burbs, you should jump on this.
