Greetings, my fellow CINtizens!
I am proud to announce our very first CIN elections!
Based on our posting statistics our most frequent posters, Chip & Telfer are squaring off! Registration to vote was YESTERDAY. Only people registered as of yesterday are eligible to vote!
There will be a “debate” thread soon enough, and then a town hall style where you can ask them questions.
The position they’re running for is First CINtizen (or Commander-CIN-Chief). Their responsibilities will be arbitration, and mediation. They will have to officiate at formal CIN activities and will receive all sorts of prizes that will be mentioned later.
Here are their first official statements!!
The Monotrematous Lugubriosity Party candidate, Dan Telfer-
Your God reached out to Dan Telfer in a dreamsong and spoke thusly:
"Dan, WTF? You post too much"
Except it was all song-y and weird. Dreams are hard to describe.
Dan's platform promises the following:
-No more gay blowjob videos on CIN. Dan's browser is full of gay blowjob videos, and banning them from CIN is the only way to curb this obvious menace.
-An extremely unpopular VP, to guarantee he will never be assassinated.
-Tyler photoshop threads will be made stickies.
And from Chip:
Fellow CINizens, last night I had a dream that I would be put to death for buying the last muffin in the bakery. I took it as a sign that my days of consumption have weighed heavy on the scales of karma, and that I need to add some ballast to the side of service.
Thusly, I am running, not just to make your CINing lives better, but to save my own self. That's motivation you can count on, CIN!
I believe in a CIN where the youtube thread only contains legitimately interesting videos, where the thoughts and speculation on Lost are still the most viewed, the most contributed to.
I believe in a CIN where show promotions are kept to the Shows and Events forum. I believe that our worth is measured in the number of posts in our birthday threads.
I believe in an improv forum where we will finally discuss overcrowding in classes, once and for all, until we do it again the next year.
