From the tip of Argentina, they've washed up on the shores of Rio. (http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2008/10/02/AR2008100204225.html?hpid=topnews)

Not a good sign for our global climate.
Though there have always been more penguins in South America than Antarctica, so my brain is not exactly exploding with the craziness of the situation.

I was exaggerating a little. I liked the part where people on the beach would take the starving, exhausted penguins and stick them in a bucket of ice.

Yeah, that's fucked up and funny. These are warm weather penguins, dummies.

Shit. I was planning a trip to LA, but that's cancelled now in lieu of this news.
I'm going down to Argentina and adopting me a penguin baby.

Or is it? March of the Penguins was propaganda, meant to throw us off the scent of the real enemy: Penguins. Brazil is first. They will take South America, then Central, then North America and use their base to launch attacks all over the globe! Except Africa and Southeast Asia. Its just too gd hot for penguins. Behold, the Penguin Army.

I'm going to be in my bunker, stockpiling Tang, beef jerky and pornography.
