Posting this for a friend of mine who is producing this, so if you have questions please e-mail her at danielle.simon8[at]gmail[dot]com...

Are you familiar with Channel 101 out of LA and NY? We're starting the same idea here in Chicago and need to get the word out to indie filmmakers, creative types, etc. For complete details on what this is and how the process works, please see www.channel101.com.

Basically, please submit an original 5 minute television episode to us by October 20, 2008 for consideration for our screening. On October 28th, 2008, we'll screen 10 episodes at a neighborhood bar, Innjoy. The audience will vote on their favorite 5, and the top five will be invited to make Episode 2 of their show for the next month's screening.

Please mail your DVD (maximum 5 min. - no minimum) to:
ATTN: Danielle Simon
2051 W Division St
Chicago, IL 60622

Due Date: 10/20/2008
Please have the title of your show at the beginning so that the audience knows what they're watching (remember, they'll have ballots)
The audience is everyone; so be sure to invite your peeps
Please label your DVD with your name, e-mail address, and title of your show
We'll e-mail you if your show has been chosen for the screening

Happy Filmmaking!!!

I have been out of the 101, 102 loop for a long time. Is this sanctioned by Harmon and Schrab or is it unrelated, but the same basic concept?
