The place: 1 bedroom opening up in a 4 bedroom apartment. It's big, trust me on that one. A living room, weight/fun room, kitchen, 2 bathrooms, Sun Room, Back porch, storage in basement. The building was built around 1910 so it's got all these cool built in wood cabinets with stain glass doors. And it's all original.
The Location:4151 N. Sheridan (Near the Corner of Sheridan and Buena). Google map this mofo, 3 blocks away from the el, 2 blocks away from Jewel, right next to the Library.
The Cost: Your portion is $408 including heat. The total bills tend to be around 30 dollars a month.
The roommates: Clean improvisers. One is allergic to cats (me). Non-smoking apartment (the people in it, not the apartment itself, silly)
Other perks: No Cable Cost. Laundry in basement. Our landlord lives right across from us and likes us a ton so we tend to get issues fixed immediately, he is super cool. And the major perk, we are only two floors above THE BRETT LYONS. You can watch him sleep if you want. I do.
