The Playground Improv Theater is seeking 3-4 individuals to train as house managers.
Playground House Managers work 1-2 shifts a month (or more if requested), from 7:00 pm to 9:45 pm on Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday evenings. House managers open the theater, oversee the box office staff, and run lights/sound for the performing teams.
Prefer individuals with some improv training, as pulling lights requires knowledge of how and when to end scenes and shows. Tech experience is not required - improv experience is more important.
House managers receive $20/night for 2.75 hours. There is the possibility that this can turn into a regular, weekly job, 4.5 hours a night and more $, in 2009.
