Hello Everyone,
I'm inviting you to see my first outdoor Equity production with Oak Park Festival Theatre. They have a tradition of doing "Shakespeare in the (Oak) Park" every summer, and this year is the classic romantic comedy Much Ado About Nothing. It's been called "Romeo & Juliet with a happy ending." I'm playing the role of Verges, assistant to the constable Dogberry. For a summary of the play, click here or type in http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Much_Ado_About_Nothing (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Much_Ado_About_Nothing).
It's outdoors at Austin Gardens in historic Oak Park, Illinois (home of Frank Lloyd Wright). Actor's Nights are June 19 and 26 (Thursdays) $10 when presenting HS/R or theater industry card. (These are also Student/Senior nights - also $10 with ID.)
I hope you can join me for this fun show. Performances run June 13 - July 19 on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays at 8PM, and Sundays at 7PM (except 6/22 & 6/29 at 5PM). For more details, and to purchase tickets, visit http://www.oakparkfestival.com (http://www.oakparkfestival.com/) or call the box office at 708-445-4440.
Thanks,
Steve
