Friends,

I have the honor of playing Tateh, one of the lead roles in Porchlight Music Theatre's upcoming production of RAGTIME. I am thrilled to be a member of the talented cast in this exciting production!

RAGTIME is the poignant and engaging Tony Award-winning musical by Terrence McNally, Lynn Ahrens and Stephen Flaherty. Based on the wonderful book by E.L. Doctorow, RAGTIME weaves together three distinct family stories as it mirrors the often-turbulent experiences of whites, blacks and immigrants merging into the American melting pot of the early 20th Century. And its soaring and beautiful music doesn't hurt much either. ;-)

RAGTIME previews on April 6th, 7th & 8th.
It opens on Monday, April 9th at 7:30pm.
It runs through May 27th.

Regular performances:
Fridays & Saturdays at 7:45pm
Sundays at 2:30pm
Thursdays in May at 7:45pm

Location:
Theatre Building Chicago
1225 W. Belmont Ave.

My English class is reading this book this quarter, so I sent the info to my Prof. He printed it out for all of his classes. You're welcome! :)

I saw this.

Aaron was kind enough to offer me comps for this show.

It's great.
Really and truly.
It's great.

This is one of those shows that I never thought could be done in a small space and this company does it very, very ably. The way that they transition from one number to the next is very, very smart.

And the music for this show is some of the best that I've ever heard in any musical, anywhere ever. And this cast handles it tightly and professionally.

They're really, really good.

If you've never seen this show, this is a great way to experience it for the first time.

Seriously, go see this show.
You'll be glad you did.

Cheers,
COB
