Hey Everybody,
My roommate's friends bought a building and want her to move in and pay practically nothing for rent, so I need to find a new roommate for June. The lease is up October 1st, but we could renew.
The place is the 2nd floor of a 3 flat in Roscoe Village (Roscoe and Seeley). Your half of the rent would be $600 including heat. The bedrooms are fairly big(my roommate has a queen size bed, a dresser, a couple of tables etc...) and there is plenty of storage. We have free laundry in the basement, a deck, and a huge yard. There are two living room areas, right now we use one for tv and the other to listen to records. I don't really have any furniture because the place was already furnished when I moved in, so we would have to get a couch.
About me: I'm 27 work ft in a production house downtown and am a student/intern at IO. I have a dog and will not expect my roommate to help take care of him. I've had him for 7 years. He's pretty quiet and friendly. I'm generally laid back; I don't really care about noise, but I do like to keep the place fairly clean.
Please e-mail me if you want to come look at the apt.
Thanks,
Clare
