who is "our?" why can't the other part of "our" keep the cat?
i don't mean to be a dick about it, but yikes it makes me sad when people have to give up their pets. so i hope some nice improviser can take her for you. if not, may i suggest a craigslist posting, but rather than say "who wants a cat" try a nice description with a photograph, and ask for a small adoption fee (can be a donation to a shelter) to ensure that she goes to a serious home?

i'd say take her with, but she'd probably get eaten by a bear.
