From a friend of mine. It is a huge 5 bedroom place at Roscoe and Broadway. Really really awesome apt.

As it turns out, I need to figure out a new living situation. I either need to find roommates or a new place. I have thought about it, and I think I would like to stay here because it is a really great apartment, it is enormous, and inexpensive for what you get and where it is. Right now I live in a 5 bedroom apartment with 4 other women, but in October, when the lease is up they will all be moving out. Various life changes- moving in with a boyfriend/ grad school/ moving out of the country- ya know how it goes. One girl is leaving at the end of August. One may
leave at the end of July. 2 are most likely leaving at the end of September.

So I may have a August or September start date. Definitely a September start and definitely October starts. So if you or someone (girls/ guys) who is clean-ish, sane, and responsible, who does not have pets, is looking to move this fall- let me know when, and I bet we could work it out!

I am on the third floor of a 4 floor building and we have the entire floor. All
the rooms are large. My bedroom is as big as some studios I have seen. It has a large entryway, living room, dining room, Kitchen and Sunroom. It is 5 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, so you only share a bathroom with one person and one person gets a bathroom to themselves. Some features: hardwood floors, central heating and air, dishwasher and IN-UNIT LAUNDRY! Also in the summer, the landlord has a garden and
he gives us fresh vegetables- and they open up the roof deck to hang out on.

Proximity
Close to everything! It is on Roscoe between the Lake and Broadway. There is an underpass at the end of street so you can get right to the lake if you would like. There are 3 grocery stores within a 10 minute walk- Treasure Island and Jewel on Broadway and Whole Foods on Halsted. A library, Gill Park, Sheil park, the Playground, Timeline Theatre, Stage left Theatre, Improv Olympic, The Theater Building, Bailiwick, StrawDog- All within minutes! Tons of restaurants, coffee shops, bars, gyms, etc- all right at the end of the block, and yet the apartment is quiet because it is a side street.

Transportation
Transportation is awesome with 3 express busses at the the end of the street that get you downtown in 15 or so minutes.- 145 down Michigan, 146 down Michigan then down State Street, 135- down to east/west Wacker then down Lasalle

Other busses: 151 sheridan, 36 broadway, 77 belmont, and 152 Addison, if you fancy the train (although I find buses faster, cleaner and more reliable) you can easily walk to to the Belmont or Addison Stations .

If you must have your car- the street is open parking- no permit required and/ or the building has a garage you can rent.

Money
So it is $544 a month and bills, even at the worst this winter, was about
maybe $90-ish per person.

Any questions? Want to know more? Interested, but not committed to the idea? Want to see the place? Email me! (put something about apartment in the subject line) and/or pass this on! Just trying gauge interest and or see if I should move out.

Thanks.
