Submit your 3 X 3 team now for the 2008 Memorial Day Tournament. The local improv community welcomes ALL teams from North Carolina and guest teams from out of state. Come celebrate Memorial Day by partying and performing at the DSI Comedy Theater (competitive improv, shortform and longform).

The format will be released Friday May 16th and the 2008 Brackets will be announced on May 22nd by Scott Sullivan at DSI CageMatch. Many teams will ENTER, 1 team will WIN... Judged by... The Audience. Our winning team takes home FREE beer, great prizes and pride.

So far we have Two teams from Chicago. One team from Phildelphia and One from Washington DC. We have a 3X3 festival on our hands.

TEN (10) TEAMS HAVE BEEN SCHEDULED FOR THE 2008 3X3 MEMORIAL DAY WEEKEND TOURNAMENT. It's going to be awesome. We have special guests from all over the country (and North Carolina!) Rules and format will be announced soon, but get prepared for a night packed with amazing comedy, and ridiculous bits ;)

On Saturday May 24th At 11PM guest teams traveling from out of town perform previews and it would be awesome to SUPPORT THOSE TEAMS, BEFORE we all meet on the stage in 3X3 battle. Piero Procaccini (workshop here (http://forums.dsicomedytheater.com/showthread.php?t=8389)) guests during BEST SHOW EVER, 930PM on Saturday May 24th. Following ALL shows on Saturday night you should plan to drink and play a couple rounds of MURDER.

I'm sorry that we were not able to schedule ALL the teams. We had one space left and 7 last minute submissions. Keep those teams together and let me (and the honorable Scott Sullivan) know about Summer CageMatch! You should definitely come out to get a spot on pickup game*
