The mass protest has been grabbing world-wide notice over the last couple of days. It's getting ink and people are talking about it. Some are siding with Scientology, claiming it's 'religious bigotry'.

Meanwhile, in Germany, the courts have upheld an order allowing the government to put the church under surveillance for their practices.
They suspect Scientologists have a political and corporate agenda, especially in Berlin.

Knee-jerk paranoia? Perhaps, but I don't blame Germany for wanting to keep tabs on this organization.

NOTE: The last line says the U.S. State Dept. condemns Germany's surveillance policy.
(..though, apparently it's still okay for our own government to spy on any organization or U.S. citizen it wants to)
