All 7 hour-long episodes of CIF Production's College Comedy Championship 2007 have begun airing on OSTN-TV. All 7 episodes will have repeated airings several times throughout the rest of February. OSTN-TV is an international cable television network that telecasts to over 250 colleges and universities across America, as well as colleges and universities in Canada and Great Britain.
The 7 College Comedy Championship episodes showcase the Quarter-Finals, Semi-Finals and Finals of the comedy tournament. The episodes also feature Mark Sutton and Joe Bill as the co-anchors, Marla Caceres, Nick Hausman, and Amber Ruffin as the sideline reporters, Jeremy Schaefer as the weatherman, Daryl Amandes and Justin Jackson as the co-emcees, Jeff Griggs, Nick Johne, and Niki Lindgren as the judges, and great improv from 8 national college teams.
Each hour-long episodes feature 40 minutes of improv. The improv was shot live to tape, in front of a live audience, without any re-shoots, and was was filmed with six cameras. To tape the series, CIF Productions partnered up with Columbia College Chicago's television department.
