(Butt-head laugh goes here... uh heh-heh-heh... "Wii Wand.")

I've done a little research, but everyone still seems to review Wii games the same without always outright mentioning whether I can swing the Wii-mote around during game play.

I'm probably gonna grab MLB Power Pros simply because I love the Wii Sports Baseball and I think this is an extension of that. Any other "movement" games I should know about?

Wow. If I have that game, will I have as much fun as those people? I can't wait to become a fake strongman.

Wario Smooth Moves is lots of wand movement in three to five second bursts.

I had no idea how gay I was for Skeeball until I watched that game trailer for 5 year olds and immediately wanted the game.

If Skeeball is anything like Wii Bowling, then yes, you will have that much fun.

SSX for wii is delightful. It takes awhile to get used to the trick system, but once you do it's super fun.

I just played through Metroid for wii. Also great, but there is less wild movement involved.

My favorite thing about Wii so far: The Everyone Votes Channel! I check it everyday, like a moron.

I love the Everyone Votes channel!

Louie, could you believe that whole "Are you right or left handed?" bullshit? There was another one last week that pissed me off, but I forget what it was. I hate questions where it's already culturally common knowledge which is more popular. I also get sad when there are "Would you rather lose a limb or read a book?" obvious questions. I was, however, happy with the "Would you rather travel to the future or the past?" question.

I regularly send in mentally disturbed questions in the hopes of amusing some underpaid Nintendo employee.

I've read that Carnival Games is pretty lame, and has very little re-play value.

Wario Ware: Smooth Moves is freaking awesome, and you'll have plenty of wand use in some pretty crazy ways.

Guitar Hero 3 is coming out on the Wii at the end of this month. You'll plug your Wiimote into the guitar controller. It will be fun. WIIIIIIIII!

Laura and I also love the Everybody Votes channel. I like to analyze the results on a state by state basis...

Of course people in Utah would like to be abducted by aliens... life is super boring there.

So far I have a 67% public opinion guessing rate. And my own opinion is 157 meters from a little city. Which I guess means I'm out of touch with normal people.

I'm loving Raving Rabbids. Especially for only $30. It is much more of a party game though. You know, the more the merrier.

Everyone Votes is good times. When I first downloaded it, I thought it was going to ask me a bunch of stuff about politics. I guess are you against abortion isn't a Wii friendly question.

Here's a great game - Mario Strikers Charged. Perfect amount of motion control which is only used to - A. Check people into the electrified walls by punching with the wii remote (satisfying sound/rumble feedback in the controller - it even pops into slow motion when there's a big hit) and B. Make saves as the goalie by pointing at the screen and waving a set of hands around during mega-strikes (multiple shots fired at the goal at once).

This is probably my favorite Wii game out so far (the under-rated Excite Truck is also up there). It's also online. Has anybody else played this thing? I love it and this is coming from a dude who's never been into soccer games.

Mario Strikers : Soccer
Super Smash Bros : standard 2D fighters

I love the frantic craziness.

What I want to know, is why the HELL haven't any developers put out a good, MLB licensed BASEBALL game, for chrissakes? I read an article about how 2K is working on MLB 2K8 for Wii, but jesus, hurry up. There has never been any other gaming console more PERFECTLY suited for a baseball game in the history of the world.

And don't tell me to go get The Bigs. Thats a slap in the face.

This is what I'm saying! I'd settle for a slightly more involved/longer version of the Wii Sports Baseball.

After much reflection, I have also joined Wii-nation. In addition to Wii Sports, I have the lame Wii Play (but it did come with a controller, so it's a wash). I'm about to make my next purchase, and I'm looking at PowerPros and Mario Strikers. I'm leaning towards Mario Strikers as I do enjoy soccer, and that seems more motion-capture-ish, but I also heard that PowerPros has a hell of a game engine.

I picked up EA's Boogie, but haven't opened it and am planning to return it based on the brutal reviews it got. (I picked it up on a whim since I was already giddy about pulling home a Wii at the local Target).

Actually, I did make one purchase online -- Tecmo Bowl. I prefer Super Tecmo, but it was nice to bring back Neal Anderson.

As mentioned above:
Rayman's Raving Rabbids is probably the most fun I've had playing the Wii.
Everything from Shooting, to Throwing, Running, Drawing and Dancing.
It works extremely well with the controls.

check that game out if you get the chance.
The Bunnies are stupid and the Ads for them are fun.

I do not have a Wii, but I purchased Raving Rabbids for PS2 ($20) because after renting it once, I found it hilarious, and my wife loved it. She doesn't usually play video games. But every time the rabbids go "BAAAAAAH" it cracks us up.

I just wanted to butt-in to point out that it's not a "wand" or even the "Wii remote", but the awesomely named "Wiimote".

And Mario Party 8 will give you plenty of Wiimote joy during it's great mini-games.

I see that Rabbids 2 is coming out in a few weeks, and the preview promises more multiplayer action. Looks very very fun.

I'll also check out Mario Party 8...I wish Rock Band was coming out for Wii -- the career mode looks awse.

I just bought EA's Playground. A pretty decent game that would go well with a party. Some of the mini-games include; Tetherball, Kicks (Volleyball/Soccer), Wall Ball, and Dodgeball. Tetherball is my favorite as the game can get pretty intense and can wear you out.

Speaking of which, if you haven't already bought Pokemon Snap for the virtual console then you're a goddamn fool.
