Hey folks, I am about to embark upon the adventure of getting a CPL card, and I was a little bit curious about something- I've done a search for some books I'm excited to read, and so far none of them have showed up at my local branch, but they were all at the Harold Washington epicenter. Am I best off just making a bi-weekly pilgrimage to the HW to satisfy my book cravings, or might my local branch be better stocked than I think?
thanks
Well, you should be able to do an 'inter-library loan' where they can ship the book from another location to your local branch (they have a van just for this purpose). But considering it might take a day or three (and cost you $1 I believe) you might as well just hop on the red line and hit the HW library.

In my experience, the Sulzer Regional Library (Lincoln Square)
is as media-rich as headquarters, and those
two trump any other branch.
