The Chicago Sketch Comedy Festival is the largest sketch comedy festival in the nation and we are currently looking for videography interns for this year’s festival. Interns need to be available January 3rd -13th. There is flexibility with your schedule during the festival.
Needed: Camera Operator with own equipment.
Equipment Needs:
Camera: a 3CCD mini DV cam similar to a Panasonic AG-DVX100 or a Canon XL-2.
Audio: additional shotgun mic suggested but not required.
Tripod: Anything as long as it has a fluid head.
All tapes will be provided.
You will be shooting live sketch comedy shows and general b-roll for a documentary. as such, ability to follow action and quick focus are a necessity, as well as a more than passing knowledge of F-stops and aperture settings

Scheduled for January 3rd – 13th, 2008, the event plans to showcase 100 sketch comedy groups performing 125 shows. In addition to performances by the groups, the event will feature workshops, networking opportunities and other special events.
