I was just given a video ipod and i want to transfer my music from my nano to that one. Is that possible? and B) If I CAN do that will I still be able to keep my music on my nano too?

1) Yes, there's software out there that can extract music from an iPod.

2) Yes, the music from your nano will still be there.

Actually, if you have iTunes on your computer already, you don't need to exact squat from your Nano. You just plug your new iPod up to your computer, and it will put your music into it for you.

oh yeah. but will it include the stuff that's on this video ipod too? My friend gave it to me with some music on it that I might keep. Although I don't really have to. It's a lot of stuff for his kid like Yannie and shit...or whatever that kid song singer is.

Tell your computer to see hidden files, then treat the nano like an external drive, go to the hidden folders and search through them (it will take a while, iTunes renames everything).

i think a programme called 'ipoddump' or just 'idump' (:eek:) does something like this.. just google it too see :)
