I wish I could figure out how to post these videos, but I can't.

Anyhoo... this is the best 80's video ever. Set in an English boarding school, you get:

-a white-eyed zombie
-an angel who throws doves at the camera
-a ninja
-swimmers in a classroom getting buckets of water thrown on them
-fencers
-punkers
-football players
-ballet dancers
-gymnasts
-English schoolboys in a food fight
-a zombie choir that flies

Since several people don't know how to do this, here's how to post the actual video instead of a link:

Go to the You Tube page of the video you want to post.

To the right of the video is a light blue box with a line towards the bottom that says "Embed".

Below the word "embed" is a line that starts with: <object width=...

Click on that line to highlight it then copy it to your clipboard.

Then simply paste it into a message on the forum. When you submit that message it'll show the embedded video instead of just the link.

I watched Earth 2 and Space: Above and Beyond. Earth 2 was interesting to watch. A new planet with weird people who could travel through the soil, large slobbering bison-like creatures, crew difficulties, sexy actresses, and a cute kid. Sounds like a winning combination but the writing was weak but most importantly, the series lacked a significant reason to care for the characters. The acting style was always steeped in soap opera style tension but rang false and a writer's default. The crew diversity probably influenced Firefly a bit.

Space: Above and Beyond was a 90s attempt at BSG. I liked the war stories and the characters but could see why no one else even new this series existed. The show was like a cross between Starship Troopers and BSG. I only really remember one episode of this show. The faceless enemy put these fear strobes on this planet and it affected the crew to fear the things they feared the most. It was a neat psychological episode that still stands out in my memory.

Well, probably because I'm pretty conversant in all relevant fisting techniques, so it's not helpful to ME.

But to the lay person (or the un-laid person, as the case may be), there are probably some good pointers to be had.
