Hey Everyone,
I'm doing a play called ANGEL STREET out at First Folio Shakespeare Festival (http://www.firstfolio.org). It's my first Equity show, and I'm proud to work with a top-notch cast. We opened Saturday night, and the show is already Jeff Recommended!
"Brought to the screen in 1944 as Gaslight, with Ingrid Bergman and Charles Boyer, Angel Street is the quintessential Victorian thriller. The sweet but wan Mrs. Manningham finds herself sliding inexorably into insanity, just as her mother did before her. But as she views the world by the glow of gaslight, she begins to wonder if she is making the journey alone, or if her husband is helping her along."
For the next two Wednesdays, you can see the show for $5. (Regular tickets are $25, so this is a great deal!) Here's the scoop:
First Folio Shakespeare Festival $5 tickets to industry professionals on April 11 and 18 as available to ANGEL STREET. Must be reserved and paid for in advance by industry professional with H/R, tech resume, or business card indicating employment with a professional theater company. Prices are for theater professionals only, not guests. Performances are at Mayslake Hall, Mayslake Peabody Estate, 1717 W 31st St, Oak Brook. Call 630/986-8067.
And if you can't make the Wednesday shows, the play runs W/Fri/Sat & Suns through May 6.
Hope to see you there!
Steve
