i know that this play was discussed on the old board, but i finally saw house theatre's production of "the sparrow" last night.
i was truly moved.
this play was absolutely brilliant, and i was awestruck the entire time. the staging alone was beyond inspired. there were moments of impossible scenes performed on stage, scenes that a rational person would not attempt to put on stage. thank you house for not being rational.
the rest of the run may be sold out already, but if there is anyway, you must see this play.
they moved the production to the steppenwolf garage theatre til the end of the month.
