So, you’re looking for a coach or director in Chicago? Well, you are in the right place if you want to extend your chops and improve on your acting while entertaining audiences with you whit and comedic or dramatic improv stylings.
My name’s Henri Dugas IV, and I’d like to coach you. I’ve been performing since 1995 and coaching since 2001. I’ve helped teams pep up their short form, move from short to long form, create new forms, polish standard forms, or just come in for a weekend to shake things up, get the rust off, and beat some new trails. I like working with groups, but if you want me to come see a show and give you individual notes, I’ll do that too. I’m always up for play and ready to help you reach your goals, or help you find some goals.
My focus is on acting THEN improv. I have studied at Second City and Annoyance. I read all the major publications, both improv and theatrical, and keep up with new games and exercises as they come into our community.
Now the dirty:
$5 a person for a 3 hour session or $30 flat fee for 6 or more people for 3 hours.
Individual- Ticket to your show and coffee afterward.
