I posted this on YesAnd, but I wanted to see if any Chicago folks might know the answers. Anybody done the Cruise ship shows for Second City? I've got a couple of questions.

1. What's the pay like? I've heard some wildly divergent figures, and I wanted to hear from someone who's actually been there.

2. I've heard rumors of health insurance, either just while you're on the boat, or during the duration of the contract. Any truth to this?

3. How does money work aboard the ship. I guess my question is, are there ATMs? Is there some shipboard bank you have to use? I have no idea how this would work.

4. Email/Internet - Is there a reliable way to use this onboard, or is it something you do whenever you're in port?

5. What was your general take on the whole thing? Was it fun?

well, some of your questions a bit personal. Your best bet is to either ask Second City directly or ask someone you know in person. No one wants to answer questions like that on a mesage board.. particularly to "Adlai Stevenson." So go to Armando or the TourCo show tonight and ask people there.

Sorry if I offended anybody. I can see how the questions about pay and insurance might seem too personal. I was just trying to get a general idea. The others were just logistical questions, as I've read a couple blogs from people who'd done it, and those seemed like basic stuff that weren't covered.
