The Chicago Short Comedy Video and Film Festival and the concurrent Chicago Comedy TV Pilot Competition need volunteers. The combined event is being held on the evenings of Friday, July 20 and Saturday, July 21, at the Music Box Theatre, 3733 N. Southport. The line-ups for all the shows can be viewed at: www.witsendshorts.com. Volunteer duties include handing out programs, directing crowds, and sign-in. There is no pay, but volunteers can view the very funny shows for free.
