Auditions will be held:
Saturday, June 30th
2:30 – 5:30 pm
3rd Floor, Strawdog Theatre Company
3829 N. Broadway, Chicago
Contact Info: Please call 773.944.5692 and leave a voicemail requesting a preferred ˝ hour slot between 2:30-5:00 pm or email twentypercentchicago@yahoo.com to schedule an appointment. You will receive a confirmation call or email. Walk-ins are welcome, time permitting.
Material to Prepare: Sides will be provided at the auditions. Please bring headshot and resume.
Show Information:
Snapshots is 20%’s summer festival of new short plays, all written and directed by women. We will be casting for multiple one-acts; individual show descriptions are listed below.
There are roles for
Actors 20s-60s
Actresses 20s-60s
Time Commitment:
Shows: August 9th-11th at 8:00 and August 12th at 7:00 pm
Performed at EP Theatre, 1820 South Halsted Street
Tech: Monday August 6th-8th 5:00-11:00 pm
Rehearsals are at the discretion of the director
20% Theatre Company is dedicated to strengthening the presence and raising public awareness of women artists in theatre. It is estimated that only 20% of theatre professionals are women. By providing educational opportunities for women directors, producers, designers and playwrights, 20% Theatre Company strives to increase the number of women in theatre. We are committed to engaging new audiences by making our work accessible to the community
