I am listening to Everybody's In Show-Biz by the kinks. Love the album; haven’t ever given it a good listen. I am very happy with it. I love the kinks, but this album is super corky yet cohesive and theatrical. Give it a chance listen. Ray Davies Lyrics are always good.

I am doing well . . . I am struggling to take a break right now. Itching to do something, but not trying to scratch that itch. It's hard.

I'm listening to a lot of Brian Jonestown Massacre and liking it a lot. That and Grizzly Bear (thanks Bob L.!)

I'm doing pretty well. Losing weight and trying to figure out what I want to do next creativly, but mostly working at a job I like a lot and getting ready to travel.

also my right nostril itches so badly that I don't even know what to do.

I've been listening a lot to The Fratellis' "Costello Music".

I like it. A lot of it is real upbeat and high tempo, so it's good springtime music to get you out of that winter funk.

I'm doing pretty good. I've been losing weight, so that's good. I'm about 10 pounds away from being the lightest I've been since Megan met me.

I'm listening to a Shel Silverstein compilation that has both songs and recordings of him reading some of his kids' poems. Both are amazing. He was one talented, out-there dude. He also reaaally liked pot.

I'm also losing weight, though that's not a sexy thing to talk about. Allow me to instead mention that I'm just doingsowell and havingsomuchfun and can'twaittodo ___. There--sexy!

Due to the high quality speakers attached to my work computer I listen to a lot of Launchcast radio. Different channel every day. Today: Seminal Rock "The artistic achievements of the founders of Rock & Roll have spawned generations of new rockers, inspired by their mentors’ genius. Some of these seminal artists that have touched the lives of millions include: Elvis, Janis Joplin, Jimi Hendrix The Beach Boys, Led Zeppelin, Nirvana and The Red Hot Chili Peppers. Seminal Rock has all of the most admired Rock Stars in the world who have helped to shape Rock & Roll to what it is today." It's pretty great.

Also losing weight. Good for us! For the best answer to how I'm doing, please see my signature.

Listening to the new LCD Soundsystem album Sound Of Silver as well as Battles new album Mirrored - which is CRAZY good. It's weird math-rock with strange pedals and voice-manipulating microphones. It's MathRock from the FUTURE!
(here's the first single and video ATLAS)

I'm in my usual springtime "what the hell am I doing with my life?" phase, where I hate my day job and want to be getting paid to be creative full time. It kinda sucks, but I feel like I'm gonna change something about it pretty soon. Thanks for asking. You look good.

Albums recently playing on my ipod:

Gogol Bordello - Gypsy Punks (this album makes me dance like Uncle Jesse's Greek cousin)
Menomena - Friend and Foe (sort of blows my mind, but not as good as their first album "I Am The Fun Blame Monster)
LCD Soundsystem - Sound Of Silver ("Get Innocuous!" is one of the best walking songs I've found)
Hawksley Workman - Last Night We Were The Delicious Wolves ("Jealous Of Your Cigarette" is my favorite walking song)
Godspeed You Black Emperor - Lift Your Skinny Fists Like Antennas to Heaven (because I immediately put this on whenever it starts to rain)

I'm doing very well thank you! Just had my final Conservatory show at Second City on monday. I'll miss my 'Predator goes to College' sketch most of all.

I'm into my springtime "bad ass" phase, so I've been listening to a combo of Zep, G N' R, and Blue Scholars. I have no idea why I feel that combo makes me "bad ass," but I do and it does.

I have some sort of bug bite on my ankle, which does in fact itch. And has me wondering what kind of bug is infesting my new apartment. Otherwise, I just need to finish moving in to said apartment and woman up and do about 14 other things I've been avoiding.

I had to bring my own little boombox to my temp job because there are no speakers on this computer. So I've been having fun making cd's for myself to listen to, currently I'm listening to a very girly compilation consisting of, some of my favorites: Holly Golightly and Portishead (a little sexy for work, but what the hell, I feel sexy).

I'm doing really well thank you! I tried taking the Clark bus to work today and it was great. There were like 3 people when I got on, opened up my book and chilled out for 40 minutes, it was great. Other than that I've been working 2 jobs for like 2 weeks and 2 more weeks to come, so it's a little taxing, but worth the money. I'm losing weight too, but not very healthily, so that's my next plan.

Yay! Hope everyone else is having a good day!

I've been on a Queen kick lately. I'm liking 'Neon Bible' by Arcade Fire. I took my time getting around to getting a copy, but now that I have, I really enjoy it. Also: The Whigs. Prince. The warm weather makes The Go! Team a great choice when I'm in the car. Not that it's warm today.

I'm doing pretty well. Thanks for asking. I will be heading out of town for about 9 days, which is exciting. I'm driving down to SC for a wedding and some other family stuff. I found a great deal on audiobooks at a discount bookstore in Naperville, (I was teaching a class out there) so I'm all stocked up for the drive.

I'm listening to "The Fabulous Swing Collection". Very upbeat and inspirational, it helps me think. It puts me in a good place.

I'm doing ok. I'm my usual melancholy self. I am grateful that I have a good job and decent life. I am thankful that I do not suffer from extreme poverty, mental or physical illness, hunger, loneliness or loss.

I am irritated with myself. I do not know why I insist on allowing phony, ill spirited and disingenuous individuals to gain access to me.

It is what it is!

Minutemen Double Nickels on the Dime (http://allmusic.com/cg/amg.dll?p=amg&sql=10:h9ftxqw5ldhe)

and, the newest one from

Tracey Thorn Out of the Woods (http://allmusic.com/cg/amg.dll?p=amg&sql=10:3xfuxqrrld6e)

Both are awesome for completely different reasons.

I'm not doing too shabby.

lately, I've been on a Pirates of the Carribean/TV theme songs kick. Yeah, I like it. Gives my mind an escape.

I'm ok lately. Looking at going back to school and figuring out how to do it.

I am listening to a comilation of old 60's girl motown bands that my friend Christopher Piatt put together for me and all my old Donnas albums back to back and over and over.

I am doing really well. I am super excited to move to LA especially when it's so crappy outside and the sun never comes out. It feels like a huge weight off my chest to know that I don't have to deal with it for very much longer or ever again. It's fun to do a lot of creative stuff for yourself which is what I think you should do D-bo... really do something creative for yourself! You deserve it.

Sidebar: I miss seeing your face Dunbar.

I'm good. Happy to be back in the US. Italy says hi. Actually, Italy says ciao.

Andrew Bird is rocking my socks with his new album. In Italian drink terms, he's a mellow chianti.

And my new love is Amy Winehouse, Back to Black. She's...hmmm.. two parts bubbly soda, three parts bitter Campari.

Right now, have Your Little Ponies playing on my iTunes at work. But recently I've been listening to a lot of Gary Allan. (That's country, y'all.)

Me? I'm doing good. Busy as hell. But, waaaah. Aren't we all.
