Has anyone else seen this? I was watchin' Mythbusters last night, and this popped on afterwards:

I'm not big into gameshow-style... well, anything- but this was kinda neat. Just thought I'd share.

J and I watch this show and like it a lot. I'm not over the moon about the host though. He's fine but tries to mug and be funny too much for my taste. but the contestants are priceless.

I've caught it a couple times, and I enjoy it. I agree that the host can be a little annoying, but the contestants are awesome. I like the randomness of it.

I especially enjoy when they get contestants who've heard of the show, and as soon as they lights go off, they freak. I like to imagine the Cash Cab being some sort of New York legend - everyone "knows someone who knows someone" who was in the Cash Cab. It's like the Loch Ness monster of New York.

I hope that I get the cash cab when I'm in NYC in a few weeks. Wouldn't that rule the skewl!!!??? I did pretty well last night. Jason and I would be dynamite as a duo. Every question I missed he got right and vice versa.

I can't watch this because my urge to throat-punch the host overwhelms me. Prat.

I helped film a parody of this show with Knute Horowitz and Ted Jonas. It is on YouTube. Just search for Cash Cab Chicago.

And I have a hilarious story to go along with the filming. We were dressed up like the robbers in the video, in the loop. And we got arrested. I mean like 16 cops had their guns pulled on us and we were cuffed and stuck in the back of a paddy wagon. They had to treat us like real criminals carrying real weapons until they realized it was just a student film. Then they told us how stupid we were for waving fake guns around downtown chicago. We were cracking up by this point, but it really was very stupid. And if only we were recording at the time we would have had the whole arrest on tape.

After being let go and told never to film in the loop again, we went up to Wrigleyville and kept filming. Ah, the sacrifices for the craft.
