hey all.

just starting working on a new gimmick w/ this female tag team. They are both short and cute as hell. The basis for it is something like The Brats Dolls come to life/Spice Girls/PussyCat Dolls/Anime/Pop Culture. It will be forever changing in costume and hairstyle. If anybody knows anything about the "Fruits" Fashion Style in Japan. it's like that. But some weeks they may come out dressed like break dancers in adidas suits, sexy schoolgirls, sporty, posh, all that.

The characters have 3 main angles of relationship.

1. They are supposed to be sisters

2. The younger one is the pop culture freak and the other is more business and sexy. The business one teaches the younger one how to behave and wrestle, while the younger one shows big sis how to be cool and let her hair down.

3. younger sister causes trouble, big sister bails her out w/ other characters. kind of like when they brought in the 2nd mouse in the Tom n' Jerry Cartoon and Jerry had to save his ass all the time. in this case the younger sisters mouth doesn't stop running and she'll just keep antagonizing even if it's in a positive way.

The fashion and storylines can be ever changing even if it's between the two sisters or their opponents. They are Babyfaces so no real heel shit is necessary yet.

I'm looking for fashion/Character ideas for them just so I can get a laundry list of them going. Any ideas for dialogue between and how they should relate is welcome as well.

I did. last night at least.

the night before that I did a "private" monologue workshop with a former member of a former 5 man tag team who were cheerleaders. that's all I can say about that w/o namin names. it was pretty cool.

I went to Windy City Wrestling one time because my friend Zach Waldman was wrestling one time. The suck part it was in Hammond , Indiana.

my only problem with 3) is that it's a gimmick used to break up tag teams rather than bring them together, either to turn a member of a heel team face or vice versa. See Mike Enos of The Destruction Crew, Shawn Michaels with the Rockers, even the god awful Marcus Alexander Bagwell of American males

I'd think Powerpuff Girls, different personalities, but with the same goal. I hesitate to give one a "ditzy" gimmick because it helps an individual get over more than a team (sort of like Rick Steiner back in that heyday)

Maybe it's making them exactly the same and a little spooky. Make them fraternal twins, give them a gimmick ala Tomax and Xamot from GI Joe where they're so tight they finish each other's sentences.

speak kindly of me to the front office, I'd love to help :)

nice. I like the Tomax and Xamot gimmick. I'm not sure about leveling out their energies equally though. just because one is definitely the chatterbox and the other is the sexy ass whipper. plus they are pretty green in the ring. so getting them over w/ relationship is key.

*note to self... watch powerpuff girlz until you can't take it anymore.

why the Buff Bagwell hate? I liked him way more than I like Scotty Riggs or even Scott Steiner at times. until the Judy Bagwell angle. worst.

I'll put you over w/ Laurinitis-

I meant the way the angle played

I didn't like the team as a whole. Good looking babyface teams with no personality are boring (and there's a long list to boot)

One could be a chatterbox with the other being fairly reserved, but still do the sentence thing.

if they have enough teamwork to do doubleteam moves in the ring, it makes it make sense.

The super excited bubbly girl could do almost all of the talking every time, working herself into a frenzy (Warrior-style) building to the end of a rant where she gets so worked up that she completely loses her train of thought and sputters/stutters until sexy-ass-kicking sister steps in and finishes the sentence.
